Wellesley Kitchen

At this classic brick Georgian Revival home with historic ties to the founding of Babson College, the team was called on to create an elegant new kitchen and mudroom entry that would both elevate the experience of the current inhabitants, but feel appropriate and well suited to the architectural heritage of the home. The work focused on a major kitchen renovation, highlighted by reclaimed walnut cabinetry with custom bolection moldings and a hand-mitered two-inch carrera marble countertop. The butler’s pantry and glass display shelves surround the custom wet bar flanked by a pair of integrated window seats, as well as a space for casual seating/dining opposite the daily working areas of the kitchen.
